Our Story - History of UTC
In 2015, UTC's Brad Duckworth and Matt Bullis, after years of discussion, began what is now known today as ULTIMATE TEAM CAMPS. They, along with several Varsity High School Head Coaches, discussed what was lacking in high school athletics at the time. The conclusion they all came to was, that there weren't any TEAM CAMPS any longer that you could bring your entire team/program to. They decided to try it out that summer in Mauston, WI and UTC was born. Since then, UTC has hosted hundreds of teams at Team Camps, hosts numerous individual camps annually, youth basketball tournaments and now is home to Central Wisconsin's largest AAU basketball program, the UTC FIRE.
UTC works with Varsity Head Coaches around the state to tailor their programming to what programs are looking for. They began their work in basketball, but have since branched out into volleyball, softball, and wrestling. Some of the most successful high school programs in Wisconsin come to UTC every summer working on the culture of building or maintaining a successful high school program.
2024 will be the 10th Anniversary that UTC has offered programs to kids around the state. We continue to grow and are looking to bring even more offerings to kids of all ages in 2024! We truly believe in our motto of GROWING THE GAME TOGETHER! We look forward to working with kids in all sports in the years to come!
When I reflect on some of the most valuable and memorable times as a coach, camps were some of the very best opportunities to improve on an individual and team basis. The UTC staff will help you get to the next level. They run GREAT CAMPS in many different sports!
